Hi, meet Winter, I had made her for a swap, but I've fallen it love with her, so she' s staying at home. Maybe, she will be joined by her 3 sisters, Spring, Summer and Autumn.

Had a few hours of fun making these pre felt pieces in readiness to start my next project.

 Here are a few hats that I have knitted for the Big Knit. Every bottle of Innocent which has a hat on sold in February 2015, 25p will be donated to Age UK. So what out for them in the shops in February.

I'm these are the last 3 fairies I made for a while. They'll be off to their new homes shortly.

At last, I think I've made the mouse I'm happy with. I believe it was the face that was causing the problem, not the limbs or the body, as when I look at the other mice I have made, they look as if they have sheeps heads.

Needle felted mice, not quick happy with them, need some more practise, may breed them as probably have a few more by the end of next week.

Well, I think I need a lot more practice, although the cat doesn't seem to mind that it's not the real thing.

Had a great day out yesterday, went to Yarndale, lots of inspiring ideas, lots of wool and fibres, lots of knitting and crocheting, and lots of felt.

This is far as I have gone making my little needle felted person, I think I'll leave it at this stage as there's lots of things I want to correct, so I'm starting again. Maybe he will turn into a Santa or a gnome later.

This is the start go another needle felted figure, this time with a wire armature, what it will turn out like, I haven't a clue. At the moment it looks a bit like an alien.

Reluctantly selling my leather craft hobby. I've had many hours of fun and enjoyment making bags, purses, key fobs, belts, bracelets and bookmarks and many hours of enjoyment at craft fairs and steam rallies.  That stage of life has come to an end, and I must sell my gear and let someone else enjoy it.

The start of something new.

After spending a couple of years in the dark, Millie is completed. I removed her toes, they just didn't look right and I gave her a pair of shoes as well as shorts and a bikini top. I've had great fun making her and there's lots of room for improvement, I can see things in the photo that I don't like and would change and Millie needs a little more strength in her lower limbs, I'm now wandering if I should start another one. Thanks to Kay Petal and her videos on making a needle felted doll, gave me a tremendous lot of encouragement and advice.

Millie has toes now, not sure whether I like them, maybe I'll have to give her shoes and remove the toes.

Millie now has hands.

For some reason the photo has disappeared from the last blog, my unfinished felt doll. So here it is again.

This is where I'm at now.

She was supposed to have a child's like body, but I'd got a little carried away. I don't like her feet, so I think I'll remove the feet and do them again.  I'll have to think of a name for her.

I started this needle felted doll some years ago, so thought it was about time it was finished if I can remember how.  I wasn't quite happy with the first head I made with the blue hair, so I started again and made the curly headed one, and made a start on the body and made the tops of the arms and legs and  then it just got left.

It's ages since I've made a fabric postcard  for Art4Mail, this is for a challenge they set, called Just Fishy, had to have something Shiney, purple beads and the colour orange somewhere on the card.

Pleased I did cut cut into it, as I'm very happy with the the results.  Don't know whether to add Autumn to the weaving, the little felt doll instead of the flower.

Well, I,ve done it.  I've taken the scissors to it and cut it into strips.

Weather hasn't been very nice today, so I  decided to have a play afternoon and made some felt. Love how it has turned out, not sure whether I prefer the back than the front.  I was going to cut it up to do some weaving, but not sure whether I can put a pair of scissors to it.
