Coventry Canals

Just got back from spending a few days on a boat on Coventry Canals and in them. It was very peaceful, no phones, no tele, no computer and no boys.
The boat had a mind of its own, zig-zagging from one side to the other, the engine kept packing in, we hit a few obstacles, fortunately not any of the barges. Hubby fell into the canal on the first day, I thought I had nailed it, but no, I went in a few minutes before we berthed the boat on the last day before coming home.

Dolls Parade

This takes me back to my childhood, making a peg doll.
I am a member of Stitch-in-9, and we are having an exhibition at the People's Theatre in Newcastle called 'Dressing Up' and we decide to do a parade with peg
dolls.
