I've been having fun needlefelting, I was supposed to be attempting to make a bird but I've had more fun doing these little fellas. From a pile of fluff to two little teddies.

Home Sweet Home
Contemporary Knitting & Crafts
1 December – 31 January 2013
It’s this time of the year when the Gallery showcases an exhibition derived from a community project exploring the boundaries between fine art and craft. For the past three years we have had knitted extravaganzas from A Victorian Christmas, A Grand Tour to Once Upon A Time produced by our resident knitting group The Materialistics but this year we have something slightly different.
Home Sweet Home is an exhibition made up of work by The Materialistics, Stitch-in-9, North Tyneside Arts Studio, Bill Quay Farm, ST Libraries knitting groups as well as individual artists and makers from across our region, all under the theme of Home and Garden.
I hope you can spare the time to see this colourful exhibition at the Customs House, South Shields.
You won't be disappointed.

What fun I am having. I have joined Colleen Babcock's mystery doll pattern group. We now have the pattern and the instructions to do the head. This is how mine has turned out. Its quite some time since I have needle sculped a head, its a little bit lopsided and mouse looking, but its all adds to her character. She'll probably look totally different when her hair starts to grow.
Above is without eyelids, eyelashes and ears.
This is the first time I have added false eyelashes, quite impressed.

Nothing to show you this week, have been on my sewing machines and they have both been playing up. Wasted alot of time and getting no way. Feel like binning them, so had a machine free day yesterday and went to my grand nephews wedding. Lovely day, the bride looked beautiful and the groom very handsome.
