Although I've been busy this week, I've got nothing to show for it. I have joined Kat Lee's online class on how to sculp a dolls face, I've done one but its only fit for the bin, so I'll try again, I may eventually be able to do one which I'll be proud to show off.
Here's another pin brooch that I have made.

Meet Sukoola, my first attempt at a Kokeshi Doll. Sukoola is 5.5inches tall and hopefully she will have a few sisters before long which will be for a swap.

Happy Easter to you all.
Can't beleive its Easter time already. The nights are a lot lighter now, so lets hope the warm weather is not too long in following. I've been busy all week but have nothing to show, hopefully I 'll be able to post a few photos next week.

Meet Lucida, rescued from a pile of stuff that my mam was going to throw away. Mam made Lucinda about 15 years ago, and looked so pretty, that I just had to give her a new home.

Completed at last. This is Freya, a personal doll challenge organised by Sherry from It all started with a cloth doll group. Thanks Sherry. It was great fun to do and Freya is now like the Simpson Family as I could only manage to give her 4 digits on her hands.

Really enjoyed my holiday in Tunisia, just nice and relaxing. Went to the Sahara Desert where we were supposed to see the sunset and sunrise, but instead we had a sandstorm one day and rain the next. Who says it doesn't rain in the desert, well I can tell you different, it was also rather cold there. The camel ride was an experience not to be missed, especially when we had to dress up for it. At least the headgear stopped the sand blowing into our faces and hair.
